We are a family-run garden centre in Glenealy, Co. Wicklow. We have been growing and selling plants here for over twenty years, and we have a cafe on site. Dogs are welcome.
We raise our tomato plants in the glasshouse and sell them by variety, including Brandywine, Cherokee Purple and Costoluto. Once a variety sells out we will not have it again until next year.
We are open right through the winter. This is the season for bare-root hedging, scented shrubs and the plants that flower when little else does.
We sell real Christmas trees and make our wreaths here on site. Gift vouchers are available in store all year.
The first perennials are hardened off and the seed potatoes have arrived. Tell us about your soil and we will point you to the plants that will do well in it.

Each plant page tells you how big it grows, what light and soil it needs, when it flowers and what to plant beside it. We write them ourselves.
Look a plant up
Geranium hybrid
Violet-blue flowers from June until the first frosts, and one of the longest-flowering perennials we sell. Good at the front of a border or spilling over a path.
Helleborus orientalis
Nodding flowers from February to April, in a shaded spot. Cut the old leaves off around Christmas so the flowers show.
The Potting Shed Cafe
Our cafe is in the pink shed in the middle of the garden centre, serving coffee, homemade bakes, soup and sandwiches. Dogs are welcome inside and out.
